In my last year of practice, I’ve been asked many questions regarding my coaching and consulting style, Strategic Intervention, and also the differences between coaching and counselling. So, here I’ve crated a “behind-the-scenes” view of what it might look like to work with me.
What’s My Working Style Like?
My favourite working style as a Strategic Interventionist and Health Consultant is through in-person contact, either 1-1 or in a group. I often work via Skype or phone too, but I love being with the person face to face. Teaching in groups, either a small weekly group, like the one I’m doing at present on “Mindfulness and Meditation” is also a great joy. I get to learn new things about many people all at once. We all share our flaws, and ‘get real’ with one another. My working style is very personal.
How Do I Take My Client’s Through The Life Of My Programs?
In my programs, we work together weekly. I have a strategic method, helping them to step inside a lighter life story. My clients come to me for that specific reason. Most have experienced a trauma or “personal injury”. They’ve also been down the rabbit hole of counselling and “talk therapy”, and they are ready for more, or a fresh pair of eyes. Indeed, my clients get “more” at Satori Health & Wellness Coaching.
Although my programs have an agenda, we flow within that space together. My programs are strategic and meant to take the client to the next level; helping them create a new personae. Through the life of my programs, short-term or long-term, they learn to have the courage to un-learn, re-learn and re-create the meaning of their life, and life’s story. They learn to feel love for themselves again, and for everyone around them.
Meaning-making and how they create such a new story is through daily actions and exercises, meditation instruction, mindfulness strategies, and learning to deepen their soul’s purpose.
What Do I Love The Most About My Role As A Strategic Interventionist?
Growth! I love to watch my clients grow, transform, heal their pain, empower themselves as well as others around them. Having the privilege to watch people feel more confident in their choices is also a beautiful thing. I also see more people sticking to the plan they created to achieve their goals. That’s a gift!
